About.

I am a mental health professional and occupational therapist on Awabakal country- Newcastle NSW.

I combine extensive experience in public and private mental health and substance use settings with youth and adults, my clinical qualifications and training, with my own lived experience of ADHD to prove practical, behaviourally- focussed, and affirming therapy for people with ADHD .

Outside of work I like creative occupations, pets, plants, soy lattes, and dancing in the kitchen with my partner.

Not just ADHD coaching.

Although I have experience in health coaching, it’s just part of what I bring to our partnership.

As an occupational therapist, I have expertise in creating environments, in sensory modulation, and in activity analysis and modification.

As a registered health professional, I am committed to evidence-based practise, and continuous engagement with research.

As a mental health and alcohol and other drug clinician, I practice without judgement, and work with you to let go of shame.

As a person with ADHD, I bring lived experience, and the ability to connect to your rhythm.

I know that you bring your own expertise and skills, and look forward to working together to meet your goals.

Therapeutic approaches.

Occupational therapists are the experts in the occupations (activities) that make up a person’s life, and this is at the core of my practice. I have a lighthearted and practical approach to working with people, and a clinical focus on supporting people to set and achieve personally meaningful goals, develop new skills, put therapy into practice, and build a life worth living.

My approaches draw from sensory approaches, therapeutic use of occupation, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and coaching.
